I have recently figured out a process which can be carried out on any one photograph to create a 3D picture. The process simulates having taken two identical images from different angles at the same time with a two camera setup and combining them to create a 3D effect which will be visible when viewed through 3D Anaglyph glasses. My ‘alternative’ process enables me to convert any regular single photograph into 3D. I’ve called it my ’3D reverse engineering’ process. Its all done on my computer and the best thing is, the end result is exactly the same as having rigged up two expensive cameras and lenses side by side on a tripod and taking two identical photographs, which is the traditional method photographers use to creating an image in 3D [more photos ...]
